By accessing, browsing, or playing Vaelnusa at https://vaelnusa.online (the "Service"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must discontinue using the Service immediately.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use Vaelnusa. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

3. Accounts and Google Sign-In

You may register and access your account using Google Sign-In, which is authenticated securely through Supabase. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach.

4. Guest Access

Guest access may be introduced, updated, or retired at any time. Guest sessions do not create permanent authenticated accounts and may not guarantee persistence or recovery of character progress.

5. Use of the Service

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and play Vaelnusa in your web browser for your personal, non-commercial entertainment.

6. Prohibited Conduct

When accessing Vaelnusa, you agree not to:

• Use unauthorized third-party automation tools, bots, hacks, or macros.
• Exploit bugs, unintended game mechanics, or vulnerabilities.
• Disrupt or impair the availability, infrastructure, or network of the Service.
• Attempt unauthorized access to other players' accounts or our database.
• Harass, abuse, defame, or impersonate other players or staff.
• Use the Service for any unlawful or deceptive purpose.

7. Game Content and Progress

All virtual items, characters, classes, progress, attributes, or game elements are provided as part of the Service. We do not guarantee the permanent availability, uninterrupted access, or persistence of any game progress. Game balance, statistics, and mechanics may be adjusted, reset, or updated at our sole discretion.

8. Intellectual Property

All content within Vaelnusa—including, but not limited to, game lore, character designs, artwork, graphics, animations, user interface elements, trademarks, and code—is the proprietary property of Vaelnusa and its creators, protected under applicable intellectual property and copyright laws.

9. Availability and Changes to the Service

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, update, or discontinue any aspect of the website or game at any time with or without prior notice.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VAELNUSA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL VAELNUSA, ITS DEVELOPERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
